1600 020 750 DAF Compressor Repair Kit

What does a compressor repair kit do?

This compressor repair kit is a specialized component set designed to overhaul pneumatic brake compressors in heavy commercial vehicles. By providing essential replacement parts, it allows technicians to restore efficient air compression and maintain consistent pressure within the braking system without the need for a complete unit replacement.

Compatible vehicle models and systems

This kit is specifically designed for use in DAF trucks, including the F75, F85, and F95 models. It is compatible with Knorr-Bremse systems found in these heavy commercial vehicles. These components ensure the compressor can effectively draw and pressurize air to support reliable braking performance.

Installation and maintenance guidance

During installation, technicians should carefully inspect the cylinder and valve assemblies to ensure all surfaces are clean before applying the new components. Proper maintenance of the air compressor using high-strength components helps prevent pressure drops and extends the service life of the entire pneumatic system.

System reliability and maintenance

Regular inspection of compressor components during scheduled maintenance can prevent sudden failures in the air brake system. For optimal performance, always verify that all seals and rings are seated correctly within the compressor housing.
