From 1968 to Today: From a Gasket Workshop
to a Global Brand
The story of VADEN ORIGINAL began in 1968 in Konya, in a small washer and gasket workshop. Spanning more than half a century, this journey has grown into a global industrial enterprise that manufactures heavy commercial vehicle spare parts for over 100 countries and specializes in air brake systems. This is our history, built on determination, engineering, and trust.
Our Roots — 1968, Konya
The company started in Konya in 1968, when our late Honorary Chairman Ismail Acar founded "Yildiz Enjektor ve Rekor Pullari" (Yıldız Pul) in a small workshop producing washers and gaskets. Hard work and a firm belief in quality carried it forward from there. The values and the production culture that took shape under Ismail Acar's leadership are still the foundation of today's VADEN ORIGINAL.
Expanding Our Product Range
Washers and gaskets were only where it started. Over the years production reached into many more of the systems in a commercial vehicle, and air brake compressors joined our production portfolio along with other brake, engine and powertrain parts. The traditional engineering know-how turned into a manufacturing expertise, and with new product families that expertise deepened year after year.
The Birth of the Brand — VADEN ORIGINAL (2007)
In 2007, we launched the VADEN ORIGINAL brand to bring our domestic and international sales and distribution activities together under a strong, corporate umbrella. This step united our deep-rooted manufacturing heritage with a global brand identity and accelerated our journey into world markets.
Stepping Onto the Global Stage (2018)
In 2018, we achieved a major milestone in the global market by ranking among Turkey's top 1,000 exporters and top 1,000 manufacturers by production sales. Rising to the position of a manufacturer capable of competing with world leaders, we carried the quality of VADEN ORIGINAL to new continents.
A Period of Investment and Innovation (2021-2022)
In 2021 we opened a warehouse and showroom in Istanbul so that we could be closer to our customers. The same year we were accepted into the Turquality® program, which is supported by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade. In 2022 our new production facility, our Bursa R&D Center and our rubber factory all came online, and together they considerably raised both our production capacity and our capacity to innovate.
A New Identity, Millions of Products (2025)
In 2025 our one millionth air brake compressor came off the line. We see that figure as concrete proof of years of consistent work and high engineering standards. In the same period we updated our legal title to Vaden Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., so that the name would reflect our corporate structure as well as our global ambitions for the brand.

In 2018 we ranked among Turkey's top 1,000 exporters and manufacturers. 2021 brought the Istanbul warehouse and showroom and the Turquality® program; 2022 the new production facility, the Bursa R&D Center and the rubber factory; and 2025 our one millionth compressor and the title change.
Today and the Future
Today more than 1,500 people work for us. Our facilities cover over 120,000 m², we run more than 597 CNC machines, and we deliver 12,500+ products to more than 100 countries. We bring the legacy we carry from our past together with technological innovation and sustainable manufacturing, and that is how we continue to shape the future of the heavy-duty vehicle industry.
