The story of VADEN ORIGINAL began in 1968 in Konya, in a small washer and gasket workshop. Spanning more than half a century, this journey has grown into a global industrial enterprise that manufactures heavy commercial vehicle spare parts for over 100 countries and specializes in air brake systems. Our Roots — 1968, Konya
It all began in 1968, when our late Honorary Chairman Ismail Acar founded "Yildiz Enjektor ve Rekor Pullari" (YILDIZPUL) in Konya. This first step, taken in a small workshop producing washers and gaskets, grew through an unwavering belief in quality and hard work. Ismail Acar's visionary leadership shaped the values and production culture that form the foundation of today's VADEN ORIGINAL.
Expanding Our Product Range
What began as washer and gasket production expanded over the years to cover far more systems within commercial vehicles. Critical components such as air brake compressors, along with other brake, engine, and powertrain parts, were added to our production portfolio. Traditional engineering know-how evolved into a manufacturing expertise that deepened with new product families year after year.
The Birth of the Brand — VADEN ORIGINAL (2007)
In 2007, we launched the VADEN ORIGINAL brand to bring our domestic and international sales and distribution activities together under a strong, corporate umbrella. This step united our deep-rooted manufacturing heritage with a global brand identity and accelerated our journey into world markets.
Stepping Onto the Global Stage (2018)
In 2018, we achieved a major milestone in the global market by ranking among Turkey's top 1,000 exporters and top 1,000 manufacturers by production sales. Rising to the position of a manufacturer capable of competing with world leaders, we carried the quality of VADEN ORIGINAL to new continents.
A Period of Investment and Innovation (2021-2022)
In 2021, we opened a warehouse and showroom in Istanbul to be closer to our customers, and the same year we were accepted into the Turquality® program, supported by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade. In 2022, we brought our new production facility, our Bursa R&D Center, and our rubber factory online, significantly increasing both our production capacity and our innovation power.
A New Identity, Millions of Products (2025)
In 2025, we proudly manufactured our one millionth air brake compressor — a milestone that stood as concrete proof of years of consistency and high engineering standards. In the same period, we updated our legal title to Vaden Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. to reflect our corporate structure and our global brand ambitions.
