4306013 Air Brake Mechanism Repair Kit

What does a mechanism repair kit do?

This mechanism repair kit is a specialized component set designed to renew the internal force-transmission and automatic adjustment assembly inside air disc brake calipers. By providing essential internal components, it allows for the restoration of the caliper's ability to multiply thrust force and manage pad clearance without requiring a full caliper replacement.

Compatible vehicles and engines

This kit is compatible with various heavy commercial vehicle brands including Renault Trucks, Alexander Dennis, Awd, DAF, Dennis, Ford Trucks, Iveco, MAN, and Volvo. It is specifically engineered to maintain the integrity of the braking system in demanding environments.

Installation and maintenance

The installation of this kit focuses on renewing worn internal elements such as seals and adjustment components. Technicians should ensure all surfaces are clean and that the automatic adjuster spindle is correctly seated to maintain optimal pad clearance during operation.

Troubleshooting and selection

Regular inspection of the braking mechanism helps prevent uneven pad wear and ensures consistent stopping performance across the vehicle fleet.
